Description
The Carbolite GPC series offers reliable, general-purpose chamber furnaces engineered for demanding lab, pilot-scale, and industrial applications. Available in two max-temperature classes (1,200 °C and 1,300 °C) and six standard chamber volumes (131, 200, 225, 300, 350, and 400 L), these floor-standing units deliver exceptional uniformity and value.
Each model is equipped with free-radiating coiled wire heating elements on two chamber walls and the roof, plus under-hearth heating for base temperature consistency. The low thermal-mass insulation cuts cycle times and boosts energy efficiency, while a hard-wearing refractory hearth plate supports heavy loads. The vertical-lift door keeps hot surfaces away from users, and elements are serviceable without downtime.
Control is managed via an EPC3016P1 or 3216P1 PID controller, offering programmable ramp-soak sequences and Ethernet/RS-485 communication. Independent over-temperature protection safeguards operations. Optional upgrades include AMS2750/Nadcap-class compliance, modified atmosphere retorts, advanced digital controls, and loading/unloading aids
