Description

The Carbolite HTF series offers top-tier laboratory furnace performance, rated up to 1,700 °C and 1,800 °C. Bench-top models range from 4 L to 10 L; floor-standing models extend to 165 L chamber capacity .

These furnaces use vertical-hanging MoSi₂ heating elements embedded in optimized ceramic-fiber insulation to deliver fast heat-up (e.g., 0→1,700 °C in ~50 min) and excellent uniformity. A programmable EPC3016P1 PID controller with Ethernet or RS‑232/485 connectivity, coupled with independent over-temperature protection and fan-cooled enclosures, simplifies automation and safety.

User safety is enhanced by vertical-lift doors (electrical on larger units) and insulated exterior surfaces. Optional kits include debinding systems, inert-gas setups, motorized exhaust vents, and fast-cooling modules. These robust furnaces are engineered for durability and intensive use in ceramic, metallurgical, and materials-science labs.
