Description
The CM 1200 Series offers laboratory-grade performance with safe, reliable operation at temperatures up to 1,200 °C (2,192 °F). Built with a robust industrial design, these furnaces feature graded high-purity alumina fiber insulation that prevents hotspotting and enhances energy efficiency .
Four-sided plate heating elements made of Kanthal A1 wire embedded in ceramic plates ensure even temperature distribution and extended element life. The double-walled steel shell includes fan-cooled terminals to maintain safe skin temperatures while enabling rapid thermal cycling.
Configurations include front-loading, bottom-loading, and optional sealed retorts suitable for inert or reducing atmospheres. Thermal cycling systems and custom control packages are also available—supporting workflows like annealing, sintering, metallizing, and environmental testing.
