Description

The Cress AE Single-Chamber Furnace series serves industrial and manufacturing environments requiring precise, high-temperature operations. These vertical-lift door furnaces with rope seals combine robust firebrick insulation and energy-efficient ceramic hearths for reliable thermal performance .

Chamber sizes include AE1520 (15″×20″×15″), AE1824, AE1836, and AE1848, supporting workloads up to 2200 lb and offering efficient batch cycles with large uniform heat zones.

Controls combine a programmable PID (PM4 or F4H) with independent high-limit cutoff for safety. Both strategies use solid-state relays and dual door-limit switches that shut heating instantly if the door opens—ideal for high-stakes material processing.

Heavy-gauge alloy elements embedded in wall, floor, and door provide 360° heat coverage and maintain ±25°F uniformity in radiant heat applications. With wattages ranging from 9 kW to 23 kW across models, these furnaces empower a wide range of heat-treatment workflows.
