Description

The Cress Dual-Chamber Furnace offers two separately controlled heat zones—an upper hardening chamber rated to 2250 °F (2100 °F continuous), and a lower drawing/tempering chamber rated to 1250 °F or 2000 °F (continuous 1850 °F).

Each chamber includes auto-tuning PID controls accurate to ±0.25 %, dedicated solid-state relays, thermocouples, and door safety switches. The lower chamber has an integrated blower for precise air temperature gradients, while heating elements are side-mounted for uniform performance and ease of replacement.

Housed in a durable galvanized steel frame with angle steel support, the unit is built for industrial or shop environments. Optional features include inert-atmosphere rated seals and multiple chamber size configurations (e.g., 12″×32″/10″ lower). Available in various chamber lengths, single- or three-phase power. A compact footprint and 3-year warranty make it ideal for toolrooms, universities, repair shops, and manufacturing lines.
