Description
The Cress GK Series glass kilns are compact powerhouses engineered for experienced fusers, glass artists, jewelers, and potters. Available in three sizes—GK1 (8” chamber), GK2 (12”), and GK3 (17”)—each model provides top-loading convenience, 2.5″ thick brick insulation, and maximum temperature of 2000 °F (Cone 03).
With industry-leading temperature recovery times, these kilns handle complex profiles quickly, with minimal thermal lag—ideal for processes like vitrograph, raking, low-fire ceramics, enameling, and raku. Control is provided via the Bartlett Spark touchscreen, allowing programmable ramps, soaks, and monitored firing protocols.
Constructed with durable elements set into precision grooves and supported by a sturdy base plate, GK kilns are built for longevity and consistent performance Standard accessories include a shelf, detailed manual, and a 3-year warranty for the kiln and digital controller.
