Description
The Mellen Microtherm MV1250 box furnace is designed for laboratory environments that demand precision, thermal efficiency, and safety. Operating at temperatures up to 1,250 °C, this horizontal bench-top furnace provides consistent heating performance ideal for sintering, annealing, firing, and QA testing.
A double-wall steel housing with air-cooling fan keeps the exterior cool, even during extended cycles. Internally, the unit is lined with ceramic-fiber insulation for rapid heat-up and minimal energy loss. The integrated PID controller ensures accurate temperature ramp/soak profiles and thermal stability throughout the process.
Available in a range of chamber sizes from 9×9×9″ to 18×16×18″, the MV1250 is adaptable to both small-batch production and research-scale use. Mellen’s U.S.-built construction and reliable engineering make this furnace a favorite in materials science labs and R&D facilities.
