Description
The Mellen Microtherm MTSC1250 is a high-performance, three-zone split tube furnace built for labs and research environments requiring precise thermal control up to 1,250 °C in air. Each 12″ heated zone is independently PID-controlled, offering unmatched flexibility for ramp/soak applications, thermal profiling, and gradient heating.
Designed with a sturdy split-clamshell housing, it enables quick and safe loading of tubes, probes, or samples. The Vulcan-supported heating elements ensure zero sag during heating cycles, while ceramic-fiber insulation offers rapid temperature response and efficient heat retention.
Available in a range of bore sizes (0.75″ to 3″), and compatible with horizontal or vertical mounting setups. The MTSC1250 does not include a controller—though it’s ready for seamless integration with Mellen’s PID controllers (PS-series) or equivalent systems.
