Description
The Mellen NACCI 3″ Tube Furnace (model NV12.5‑IC‑208/240 V‑3Z) is a versatile split-body laboratory furnace equipped with three separately controlled zones and a maximum temperature of 1,250 °C. The split design (via hinged housing) allows rapid tube insertion and removal, accommodating up to 3″ OD tubes while including adapters for 1″ and 2″ standard processes .
Heating is provided by exposed APM wire elements capable of 1,250 °C, integrated with high-efficiency ceramic-fiber insulation for speedy ramp-up and thermal uniformity.
Three-zone models offer enhanced uniformity with dual end zones 6″ each, and come standard with RS-485 communication and multi-segment ramp/soak programming via zone controllers—ideal for research applications requiring precision gradients or defined thermal profiles.
