The Paragon BlueBird XL is a high-capacity annealing kiln designed specifically for professional lampworkers, beadmakers, and glass artists who demand reliability and space. Its extended 20.25″ deep chamber, dual bead doors, and 120V plug-and-play design make it one of the most trusted kilns for both small- and large-scale glass rod and mandrel projects.
With a maximum temperature of 1500°F (815°C) and the Sentry Xpress 3-Key Digital Controller, the BlueBird XL allows precise programming of ramp rates, hold times, and cool-down sequences. Two 4.25″ x 1.75″ bead doors allow easy access for inserting long mandrels without disturbing the heat chamber.
The kiln features sidewall-mounted Kanthal A-1 heating elements, a cordierite ceramic shelf, and 3” firebrick insulation for excellent heat distribution and energy efficiency.
