Description
The Paragon SC-3BD is a compact, front-loading kiln tailored for glass beadmakers and lampworking artists who need both precision and access. It features the same build and capabilities as the popular SC-3 model but adds a convenient bead door, allowing easy insertion of mandrels without losing chamber heat.
With a maximum temperature of 2000°F (1093°C) and a firing chamber measuring 8″ W x 7.75″ D x 7.75″ H, the SC-3BD offers ample room for annealing beads, firing metal clay, enameling, and fusing glass.
Equipped with a Sentry Xpress 3-Key Digital Controller, the kiln allows for programmable ramp rates and hold times—ideal for controlled annealing cycles and precision firing. This model operates on standard 120V power, making it perfect for personal studios, classrooms, and portable workspaces.
