Fire several large projects such as bowls or platters in one load The 13 depth allows you to slump tall molds . The sidewall elements,mounted in two horizontal rows of grooves,improve heat distribution near the edges of shelves . This is especially desirable for large slumping projects .
Lift the lid effortlessly
Dual spring-assisted lid springs transfer the weight of the lid to a massive hinge assembly on the back of the kiln . This reduces the stress on the kiln wall to give your kiln the long life that Paragon kilns are famous for . The spring counter-balance,called the LiteLid,adjusts the hinge to compensate for expansion during firing
Pinless element grooves
The Ovation-1013 lid elements use an element groove that eliminates element pins . The element coils are wider than the groove opening,so the elements stay in place without pins . The sidewall element coils are protected in dropped,recessed grooves .
Sloped control panel
The Ovation-1013 comes with a sloped control panel for easy viewing and programming . The digital keypad is mounted high in the switch box . This,combined with the 18 stands,brings the controller to a comfortable height .
Long lasting wiring
Wires are fastened to the heating elements with heat-dissipating connectors that have been refined and proven over many years in Paragon kilns . Elements are coiled from the finest high-temperature wire available .
